September is National Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Awareness Month and it is a great time to help spread awareness and resources about SCI, which is more common than many people think.

Spinal cord injury or illness is life-changing in many ways and often impacts a person’s physical, social, mental and emotional health and wellbeing. 

October is Spina Bifida Awareness Month – a month dedicated to raising awareness and increasing support and resources for adults and children living with Spina Bifida – a common birth defect affecting approximately 1,427 babies in the United States each year.
